Day 2: December Kitchen Reset – Snack Zone Check
Snacks are sneaky. One minute you’ve got a perfectly stocked shelf, the next it’s full of mystery crackers and half-forgotten chips. Today, we tackle the snack zone so you can see exactly what you have and stop buying duplicates.
Your Task for Day 2 in the December Kitchen Reset:
Check your snack zone and refresh it.
- Pull everything out of the shelf, basket, or drawer where snacks live.
- Toss anything stale, expired, or unwanted. For the pre-packaged unwanted snacks that are still good, I donate those to my kids school classrooms for anyone else who might want them!
- Group what’s left by type (chips, nuts, granola bars, etc.) so it’s easy to see.
- Move favorites to the front for quick access.
Why It Matters
A tidy snack zone prevents waste, saves money, and makes grabbing a healthy option easy. One small step today sets the tone for intentional eating all month.
Quick Tips
- Use a small basket or container for smaller items so nothing gets lost in the back.
- Label or rotate items so older snacks are eaten first.
Every tiny reset builds momentum, and today’s snack zone refresh makes your kitchen feel calmer and more thoughtful, one small step at a time.
